Holiday Cottages Booking Conditions

Payment
For each holiday cottage a deposit of 25 % is payable if the booking is made more than 8 weeks before the commencement of the holiday. Non-payment of the balance of the rental on or before the due date, ie 8 weeks before the holiday, shall be construed as a cancellation of the contract for the Client. For bookings made less than 8 weeks before the commencement of the rental, the total amount is payable on sending the Booking Form.
All payments shall be made to Mrs S.P.Gliddon.

Cancellation
Any cancellation made by the client should be in writing to the proprietor. Should you have to cancel your holiday you will be liable for full payment. However, should we be able to re-let the cottage, this payment, less deposit, will be refunded.

If the proprietors are unable to provide the accommodation booked in good faith, the proprietor's responsibility of liability is limited to the return of moneys received. We strongly recommend that the Hirer take out Holiday Insurance Cover.

Liability
The proprietors or any persons in their employ will not be liable for any loss, damage or injury, however caused to the hirer or any member of his/her party.

Period of Hire
Rentals commence at 3pm on the day of arrival and terminate at 10.30am on the day of departure unless agreed otherwise.

Complaints
Should there be any cause for complaint during the occupation of the property, it must be notified promptly to the proprietors.

Care of the Property
The client shall take all reasonable and proper care of the property and its furnishings and leave them in the same state of repair and condition at the end the rental period, as at the beginning. The client is legally bound to reimburse the proprietor for replacement, repair or extra cleaning costs on demand. The proprietor reserves the right to enter a cottage at any reasonable time.

Number of Guests
The number of persons sleeping in each cottage must not exceed the number stated except for children under 2 years of age.

Pets
A maximum of 2 well-behaved dogs will be allowed - Ł10 per week. These must be kept under strict control at all times. No pets other than dogs are permitted. Dogs must be kept off the furniture and not left in the cottage unattended. They must not be allowed to foul the garden areas.

Linen
The proprietor will provide all bed linen plus towels and tea towels etc.

Services
All hot water, heating and electricity are included in the rental. Wood & coal are charged at cost.

Smoking
All our cottages are non-smoking.
