The lane behind the cottages leads to well marked footpaths in all directions, ideal for exploring the surrounding countryside and attractive hamstone villages. A long distance (2 day) walk starts locally and finishes at Lyme Regis on the coast (Liberty Trail)

The village of East Chinnock has a friendly Post Office / Shop, Church and a Pub. Yeovil, 5 miles away, has good shopping facilities

The cottages are well placed for exploring in all directions, with the Devon and Dorset borders nearby and the Lyme Bay coast just 20 miles away. Many famous local Houses and Gardens are open to the public. Places of interest include: Ham Hill Country Park, Cricket St Thomas Wildlife Park, Sherborne Castles & Abbey, Montacute House, Forde Abbey, Yeovilton Fleet Air Arm Museum, Haynes Motor Museum, Wookey Hole & Cheddar. There are also several riding schools, swimming pools and golf courses in the area.

The Byre

The Byre is the smallest of our cottages with a large twin bedroom, as well as a double sofa bed in the lounge.

The Stable

The Stable sleeps 4 in its two generously sized double ensuite bedrooms. Ideal for those with limited mobility.

The Dairy

The Dairy is the largest of our cottages sleeping 5 with a double, single and a twin room.
